Prof. Dieter Vollhardt was awarded an honorary doctorate by the ΰµÂ¹ú¼Ê_ΰµÂ¹ú¼Ê1946$ÓéÀÖappÓÎÏ· of Warsaw last week in recognition of his scientific achievements and longstanding collaboration with theoretical physicists at the ΰµÂ¹ú¼Ê_ΰµÂ¹ú¼Ê1946$ÓéÀÖappÓÎÏ· of Warsaw.

Eine nachhaltige, nicht vom seltenen Helium abh?ngige, K¨¹hlmethode f¨¹r Quantentechnologie entwickeln Forschende am Institut f¨¹r Physik. Die Erfindung soll im n?chsten Schritt zu einem Unternehmen ausgegr¨¹ndet werden. F¨¹r dieses Vorhaben und die Vorarbeiten dazu wurde das Projektteam ?Solidcryo¡° jetzt mit dem ersten Preis des Businessplan-Wettbewerbs Schwaben ausgezeichnet

Ein Verst?ndnis des Konstrukts ?Interesse¡° und dessen Einfluss auf Lern- und Entscheidungsprozesse von Lernenden steht schon seit l?ngerem im Fokus fachdidaktischer und p?dagogisch-psychologischer Forschung.

Vor diesem Hintergrund entstand die Idee einer Arbeitstagung, die unter Leitung von Prof. Dr. Olaf Krey (Universit?t Augsburg), Prof. Dr. Thorid Rabe (Martin-Luther-Universit?t Halle-Wittenberg), PD Dr. Sascha Bernholt (IPN Kiel) und Dr. Daniel Laumann (Universit?t M¨¹nster) mit freundlicher Unterst¨¹tzung der Wilhelm und Else Heraeus Stiftung realisiert werden konnte und von 13.3. bis 15.3.2024 an der Universit?t Augsburg stattfand.

Physicists from the ΰµÂ¹ú¼Ê_ΰµÂ¹ú¼Ê1946$ÓéÀÖappÓÎÏ· of Augsburg succeeded to distinguish chiral orders with similar magnetization but opposite sense of rotation through electrical measurements at low temperatures. This is relevant for fundamental research on complex magnets and with respect to possible applications for magnetic data storage. The results were published in the renowned journal Nature Physics.
